Joining the British Equity Stunt Register in 1997 I have worked on both the big and small screen as a stunt performer and stunt double. Now, as a coordinator I can bring that experience and knowledge to any size of production.
Today's industry has budgetary demands that can restrict a productions ability to deliver its goals. Early discussions on how scenes can be planned and designed can save a production time and money in understanding how action, as part of the narrative can drive the story forward and define its characters.
As one of only a handful of stunt professionals qualified in health & safety (NEBOSH), I can offer extensive experience and legislative compliance for productions from Risk Assessments, safety monitoring to embedded consultant work. If you think safety is expensive, try an accident.
During my training and pursuit of a keen interest in military history. I am able to provide real life and practical experience of historical bladed and black powder weapons and their uses. I have also experience of training actors and supporting artists in period drill, tactics, fighting and firing.
I have been fortunate to work with the BFI and The Film & Screen School in various talks and workshops including 'Action Design on a budget', 'Identifying hazards & risks in a script and mitigating them', 'Action for the camera', 'Blocking and masking a fight scene for camera'.

I was an apprentice of Derek Ware (1938 - 2015) during my training to become a professional stunt performer in the mid 1990's. Derek created the original Havoc Stunt Team in 1966 where he was a stuntman and fight arranger for the early seasons of Doctor Who. Havoc was involved in many other television shows into the 1970s, for both the BBC and ITV. The company entirely dominating the UK TV stunt industry for a time until the creation of the Equity Stunt Register. Derek taught me to avoid action for action sake and that the story is the most important aspect of any action design.
This reincarnation of the Havoc name is dedicated to the memory of Derek Ware.
